Caring For The Eyes of Texas

Staff is wonderful, but I think Dr Erin Jacobs is absolutely super!! She’s efficient, intelligent, kind, easy to talk to and always makes me feel like she’s truly interested in how I’m doing. Recommend her 1000% and I hope I don’t ever have to go to anyone else for my vision needs!

I am a cash patient. Texas state optical made it very easy and affordable. Cheapest around. Trust me I called everywhere in buda/kyle area. Staff very helpful and nice. Brought my son with insurance and they made very comfortable too. Thanks TSO!!!

Dr. Erin Jacob is FANTASTIC! She is very knowledgeable in her field and will do everything to make sure your eyes are getting the best possible care! Will be coming back for any issues I’m having with my eyes.

Dr. Jacob does a great job explaining what's going on with your eyes. She doesn't push any products or services and gives you various options based on your needs. I recommend anyone that is looking for quality eye care to make an appointment.

Dr. Jacob was thorough, professional, and kind. She  is the first to take the time to explain why  getting my prescription just right is difficult! Her staff were great, and seemed happy to be in their job. I definitely recommend this optometrist and her staff to everyone.

I chose Texas State Optical after having unfortunate experiences at another vision center. I chose Buda over Kyle only because they had an earlier availability. The office is bright and open, the staff were friendly, they had good music playing, and it did NOT smell like plugins (it bothers me when medical offices smell like plugins). The doctor did not try to sell me any products as she knew that I was there for just an eye exam and a prescription, nothing more. I liked the no hassle, no sales-pitch mentality. I would recommend to my friends and will be going back next year!

I had a great eye appointment!  The Dr was very informative and was extremely thorough.  I couldn’t ask for anything better!  Highly recommended!  Staff was great as well!

The Dr. And the staff were friendly and professional. The eye exam was thorough progressing from equipment room to the next. The Dr. Came in and reviewed the results with me and providing her recommendations.
